Annual Lecture by The Lord Heseltine, CH
Don’t miss your opportunity to hear The Lord Heseltine, CH talk about his love of gardens and his passion for the social impact of green spaces in urban Britian, at the National Garden Scheme’s Annual Lecture on 7th November 2018.
The event, A Nation of Gardeners: Private Pleasure, Social Opportunity, will take place at the Royal Geographical Society in London and will be lead by British Conservative politician and businessman, Michael Heseltine – who was a gardener from the age of seven and went on to discover the role of horticulture in an ever-widening context.
His life-long love of gardens was borne out of his own garden at Thenford in Northamptonshire and in publishing and in a range of social activities, he found the environmental and therapeutic benefits of a profession that permeates the national character.
The evening will start promptly at 7.00pm, with doors opening at 6.00pm for a cash bar. Tickets cost £25 in aid of the National Garden Scheme.
