An exciting new event for 2019. Visit this beautiful contemporary 3 acre rectory garden designed by multi-award-winning designer, Anoushka Feiler, on this special National Garden Scheme open day – Sunday 1 September 2019. Adult ticket £10, child free, pre-booking essential. Light lunches and teas will be available to purchase. Wheelchair access, but please note there are gravel paths.
Taking the Old Rectory’s C18 history and its religious setting as a key starting point, the main garden at the back of the house has been divided into six parts; a kitchen garden, glasshouse and flower garden, a woodland menagerie, a pleasure garden, a park and an orchard. Elements of C18 design such as formal structures, parterres, topiary, long walks, occasional seating areas and traditional craft work have been introduced, however with a distinctly 21st century twist through the inclusion of living walls, modern materials and features, new planting methods and abstract installations.
On-road parking in village. Please note – Parking on village green is prohibited.
Please note we cannot offer refunds or exchanges once tickets are purchased. Please see our events ticket policy for full details.
