As the summer draws to a close, there’s still a few opportunities to get out and explore a garden, find out more about gardens still opening in Northamptonshire below…

Ravensthorpe Nursery, Ravensthorpe

Approx 1 acre garden wrapped around the nursery with beautiful views. Planted with many unusual shrubs and herbaceous perennials over the last 20-30 yrs to reflect the wide range of plants produced. Opens Friday 29th September, Saturday 30th September and Sunday 1st October.

Boughton House, Kettering

The Northamptonshire home of the Duke and Duchess of Buccleuch. The garden opening inc opportunities to see the historic walled garden and herbaceous border, and the sensory and wildlife gardens. As a special treat the garden originally created by Sir David Scott (cousin of the Duke of Buccleuch) will also be open. Opens Sunday 1st October. Pre-booking through the garden website is essential.
