Almost all of the 83 allotments and the two community gardens will be open for visitors in this enclosed site which extends to over two hectares in a residential and commercial part of the city. Visitors will be able to speak to some of the allotment holders.

There is a wide range of styles and methods employed for cultivation of fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers. Since 2000 the Society and site has been run by volunteer members. In 2021 we set up a Community Garden as an additional way to become an allotment gardener. This has created opportunities to share, learn and cultivate within groups in a friendly and social environment.
