About The Old Byre
5 acre working smallholding. 4 acres used for grazing and beehives, the rest is garden with a large cider apple orchard, wildlife pond, vegetable and cutting garden patch, herbaceous borders, poultry and sheep. We aim to be wildlife friendly and re-use and recycle everything we can, hence some weedy and untidy areas where items are stored ready to be re-used or incorporated into a new project.
We produce up to 2 tons of cider apples a year which are used by a local cider maker just 3 miles away. Homemade crafts using recycled materials will be on sale inc yarn made from the fleece of our Ouessant sheep.
