About Wayside

From the gravel drive, walk along a wide grass path, with imaginatively planted and choice herbaceous borders on either side. An old farm gate beckons and leads you towards a wooded stroll. By a Medlar tree (Mespilus) are ferns and hostas. Sheltered seat at the end of a curving pathway lined with silver Birch. The path opens up to a grass area. An artistic divider of foraged branches hides a small wildlife pond, shadowed by a foxglove tree (Paulownia), a loggery and insect village. A developing veg and fruit area including espaliered fruit trees. Interesting salvaged garden and farm implements. 2 large pig feeders planted up.
