Description: Two very diverse but interesting gardens. Holly Tree Cottage the owners' 3rd NGS garden, but different in size and shape. Superbly designed small garden planted with over 100 clematis and 50 roses, hardy geraniums, unusual plants and shrubs in colour-themed mixed borders. Attractive seating areas, pergolas, water features and wildlife areas. New collection of herbaceous clematis. The Ridings a tranquil cottage garden designed by owners in 2001 on reclaimed site. Brick pergola and arches covered with climbers lead to secret garden with lavender edged beds. Colour-themed mixed borders with old English roses. Paved terrace with water feature and farming bygones, gravel garden and small potager. Art exhibition by local artists
