The National Gardens Scheme is fortunate enough to enjoy dynamic partnerships with other leading charities in the gardening and horticultural sector. In all three cases the NGS provides annual funding specifically to support training in the sector - notably for young gardeners - and in return the partners provide a variety of support for the NGS.
The partnership with the National Trust is one of the NGS's most long standing, dating back to the 1940s.
The partnerships with the Royal Horticultural Society and the Garden Museum are more recent but have already formed the basis for exciting joint activity.
Working with our partners to promote gardens and gardeners in the UK and to raise their profile is an important priority for the NGS, alongside the charity's primary donations policy of support for nursing and caring.
