About 14 High Street
A narrow gate on the High Street leads through a small entrance garden with a flint area to a gravel courtyard with beds of white flowers and ferns. The main part of the garden, in total 1.3 acres, is grass edged with flowerbeds and divided into an open area near the house, a wooded middle section and an orchard with fruit trees, as well as another open region at the bottom with an unmown wildflower meadow and a wildlife pond. Bamboos flourish along one side, and the beds hold an informal cottage garden mix of herbs, vegetables and flowers throughout the season, favouring white ones.
