Queens House

Formal gardens appropriately complement the Grade II* listed house (not open) with its Georgian front and rear Elizabethan wing. Magnificent hedging gives the main lawn a defined space for the statuary and formal beds, at their best in the early summer. Tall trees in the less formal garden at the rear provide a backdrop to the bulbs planted in grassy area and a small woodland pathway to a little hill overlooking a small brook.
