About 5 East View Cottages

Plantlover’s garden of approximately third of an acre; naturalised woodland, woodland edge borders, shrub border, shady courtyard, stream and streamside planting, water features, sitooterie, folly and numerous artifacts. Roses, clematis, potted hostas, perennials, foliage and annual fillers, cutting beds, greenhouses. Winter and spring interest with witch hazels, snowdrops and hellebores, and wood anemones, primroses and bluebells in the woodland. Many benches and seating areas to contemplate the garden and birdlife or to enjoy homemade cake. Always something new. A few sections of path are narrow or uneven or have small steps. Visitors said ‘We have had a really super time, and enjoyed our second circuit even more than the first – so much to see and take in. The cakes were fab too.’.
