About 5 Parklands Green

One acre of beautiful gardens, and an extra ½ acre of mature woodland with winding walks and huge compost heaps. The gardens are planted with mature and unusual trees and shrubs.

The mixed borders are a riotous mix of annuals, perennials, ferns and grasses, sown and self sown for varied colour and form, performing over a long season. There are paths winding through the main garden with steps and changes of level. Use these to discover 4 large informal ponds, 3 stocked with fish and one designed for wildlife.

Children can find the troll under the bridge and a large iron ostrich under the palm trees. Our plant stall has a growing reputation for a large selection of very varied plants at good prices, all propagated from the garden.
Summer 2022 was brutal in this area. There will be some changes enforced by the drought. Could be interesting.
