About 68 Queen Street

A one acre new garden on the edge of the village which has been developed by former nursery and garden centre owners Alan and Felicity Down.
Starting with rough grass, poor drainage, brambles and overgrown hedges, the garden now has sweeping island borders of perennials, trees and shrubs. At the rear there is a vegetable plot, fruit cage, mini orchard, pond and seasonally damp bog garden. A rough grass area is in conversion to a wild flower meadow.
A greenhouse and two polytunnels provide more edibles and protection for tender plants in winter.
