Ash Park

In a stunning location, with 180˚ view of the sea, Ash Park nestles at the foot of the escarpment, in 3½ acres of sub-tropical gardens, paths to explore, woodland glades, ponds and hidden seating areas. In June, there are spectacular displays of lampranthas, agapanthas, Arum lilies, aeoniums, hostas and echiums, as well as a variety of forms of agaves and cacti.

About Ash Park

Ash Park sits in one of the most beautiful spots in the South Hams, overlooking the fields and sea. The juxtaposition of the wild rocky environment and the cultivated gardens with the sea in the background, provide a fascinating cocktail. The garden was originally designed 40 years ago by Hilliers and, over the last 10 years, the current owners have been restoring it to its former glory and developing it to the next stage. The mild climate allows cannas, bananas, echiums, lampranthas, palms, cacti, euphorbia, hydrangeas, salvia, agapanthas, ginger lilies, aeoniums, hostas, camelias and fuchsia.
