About Bisterne Manor & Stable Family Home Trust

The manor has a formal parterre with original C19 urns and pond, box and yew hedges. Wildflower planting on the lawns reflect from the fields outside, visible from the windows created around the garden. A winding path leads to a small well-stocked kitchen garden and greenhouses. The Stable Family Home Trust walled gardens are divided: a kitchen garden with raised beds surrounded by herbaceous borders and greenhouses; in another a dry gravel garden with interesting pottery sculptures; a small memorial garden and an orchard.
