About Brick Kiln Cottage

This garden was created by Barbara Jeremiah Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Gardeners developed using the natural landscape left in the Old Brick Works to give a series of unique features in harmony with the peacefulness of an old English wood.

We use eco friendly measures to look after the woodland and the garden. Saving water, using no pesticides, our own mulch and compost, chipping against weeds, using eco methods against slugs and the available wood on paths and seats.

The bird song is lovely, owls, buzzards, cuckoos, woodpeckers love the habitat, also there are visiting badgers, pheasants, partridges, deer and a peacock has taken up residence.

Home-made teas include cakes, sandwiches, biscuits, lemonade and endless coffee and pots of tea.
