Emscot Barn

The garden at Emscot Barn is new and has been created over the last few years, taking a backseat to the renovation of the barn. This garden is informal in style with a variety of mixed borders, raised beds and a variety of planted reclaimed galvanised troughs and water butts giving all year interest. There is a reclaimed brick path leading to a seating area and vegetable garden.

About Emscot Barn

As an A&E nurse the garden has given me a great escape from the chaos of my job over the last few years during the pandemic. Although very new to gardening, there is something about being in the fresh air with your hands in the soil that brings me peace and a much needed escape.
The shepherds hut was an unexpected addition to the garden last year that was a result of the pandemic, and my husband needing to work from home fulltime.
Our garden is not a design masterpiece, and is modest in size but we love it, and we hope you do too.
