Gable End

Gable End is a medium-sized garden consisting of four distinct areas. A small front garden leads into a courtyard with flowers and vegetables surrounding the house. A path leads on through a planted shady space and continues through a gate into what feels like a secret garden, a peaceful place for people and wildlife and full of flowers, fruit and vegetables. It begs to be explored.

About Gable End

Gable End is a medium-sized garden consisting of four areas. A small front garden leads into a courtyard with flowers and vegetables surrounding the house. A path leads on through a planted shady space. The path continues through a gate into a secluded garden, a peaceful place for people and wildlife. Vegetables and soft fruit are grown in areas around this part of the garden. Ornamental and fruit trees are maturing here. A small wildlife pond can be found at the edge of a small woodland area. Perennial flowers, grasses and shrubs fill other borders. Views across surrounding fields and woodland can also be enjoyed. The garden is still in the process of being developed, working towards being a more sustainable place. There were nine working water butts around the property at the last count.
