About Kestle Barton

A delightful garden near Frenchmans creek which is the setting for the Kestle Barton Trust created in 2010. It is a garden in three parts. The main garden has a long vista across a Cornish meadow covered in wild flowers in spring and early summer leading into a purposely planted Cornish Orchard with named varieties. Nearer the art gallery, the more formal garden has artistic prairie planting in blocks of colour created within circular beds and sweeping borders by well known garden designer, James Alexander Sinclair. It is a riot of colour in summer following on from the wild flower season in the meadow and continues to delight well into late summer. Plentiful garden seating, good wheelchair access and charming honesty box tea house complete the whole gallery experience where you will find the donation box for the NGS
