About Llwyn Madoc

This glorious valley with some very ancient oak woodland is the setting for an old manor house (not open). The gardens slopes down away from the house and are at their best when the rhododendrons and azaleas are out. The garden has some very mature specimens and the location has to be visited to be fully appreciated.
The house and estate has been in the same family for over 400 years. Located in a wooded valley with a small river running through it. It is stunningly beautiful with a wide variety of trees and ancient oak woods. The natural landscape adds to the draw of the garden.
