About Manor Farm
This is a lovely, well established garden of just over an acre which enjoys sweeping views across the valley towards Chew Valley Lake. The grounds feature a full sized croquet lawn, an abundant collection of mature trees and shrubs, including a small copse of silver birch, two ponds and a productive vegetable plot, all within a beautiful parkland setting.
A gate from the inner family garden opens up to the larger outer garden where an avenue crosses a couple of lawns, bisects a lavender hedge, follows on down some stone steps and crosses a wilder grassed area before culminating at ‘Stowey Henge’, all the while enjoying eye catching views to the hills opposite.
A small brook runs through the grounds filling two ponds which are a big attraction for local wildlife.
The new owners intend to carry on the good work of the previous owners but also develop the garden to attract even more wildlife and increase the range of fruit and vegetables grown whilst providing a safe and stimulating environment for their family to grow up in.
