About Oak House
Tucked away next to Waverley Wood, Oak House enjoys a walled garden that has been landscaped and extended over 30 years. The garden is split on 2 levels with seating areas allowing for relaxed appreciation of every aspect of the garden, with peaceful places to sit, ponder and enjoy. A focal point is the large terracotta urn, over 60 years old, which delivers vertical interest and the summerhouse and arbour which face each other diagonally across the garden. The curved borders have a wide range of planting creating distinct areas which surround the lawn.
There are over 80 different plant varieties giving year-round interest and creating a haven for birds and wildlife.
