After nearly a decade, the garden is still evolving. In total there are 3 acres, half of which is a paddock. Herbaceous borders and a rose pergola make up the main garden area with shade planting under a large magnolia. The front garden has yew topiary and an ancient weeping ash tree with its own wild bee colony. The orchard consists of a kitchen garden, greenhouse, fruit trees, wildlife pond and areas of woodland planting under mature trees. The paddock has a juvenile hazel copse and is allowed to flower and seed. As far as possible planting has been carried out to encourage wildlife.
