About The Almonds

This is not a formal garden. It is a garden of many and diverse spaces. The garden celebrates native flora (including several species of native orchids) and fauna (sometimes welcome, sometimes not). There is an orchard of various fruit types, with some local Norfolk apple varieties. The garden has many interesting aspects throughout the year within a framework of hard design that includes: architectural features using reclaimed decorative heritage items that celebrate part of village history, an architect-designed summer house constructed with recycled materials, and a collection of sculptures produced by the owner. The property is located on the edge of Mattishall village where roadside parking is limited. Please follow signs for parking nearby (approx 300 metres). Please park responsibly.
