11 acres of gardens inc herbaceous borders and a large expanse of prairie with many grasses and a wildflower meadow. There is a lake with bridges and a planted island, a dry river bed and a labyrinth. A brook runs through the garden with a further pond, arboretum, old orchard and partly walled vegetable garden.

About The Grange

11 acres of peaceful garden against the backdrop of an Oxfordshire manor house including deep herbaceous borders and a field turned into a prairie with lovely grasses and a wildflower meadow, all surrounded by farmland.

A lake with a planted island, a gazebo and bridges, a grass labyrinth and a dried river bed, an old orchard and partly walled kitchen garden. There are many places to sit and rest while enjoying the surroundings.

Warning: There is deep water and the bridges may be slippery when wet.

By arrangement visits
We welcome groups of up to 50 and can offer delicious refreshments!

The entrance to The Grange is at the grass triangle between Berrick Rd & Monument Rd, by the pedestrian Xing. GPS is not reliable in the final 200yds.

Visit by Arrangement

This garden opens for By Arrangement visits from June to 15 October for groups of up to 40.

Please contact the garden owner to discuss your requirements and arrange a date for a group or bespoke visit.
