About The Hymns
Set just north of the Four Stones, pre-historic standing stones, there are mown walk ways to carefully placed garden benches, and views to the hills and the ancient village of Old Radnor, where Alfred Watkins evolved his thoughts of Ley-lines. The Hymns has inspired several artists, the work of whom can sometimes be seen in the barn. It reflects the County motto : ‘Powys Paradwys Cymru’, ‘Powys – the paradise of Wales’.
