About The Paddocks
Dry shade is becoming quite an issue and has forced a change in planting, hence more grasses, heucheras and ferns this year.
With a passion for succulents I try to accommodate this into the garden, with a variety of specimens in pots and containers. The greenhouse and pots are filled with unusual specimens of echeverias, aeoniums and cacti. Two small ponds and a rill are a central feature for the garden, also providing a habitat for frogs and newts, a large number of fish, and the biggest bird bath in Hanley Swan!
