About Whitehill Farm

Some two acres of gardens and woodland in the Windrush Valley, just east of Burford, with lovely views. There are a number of semi-formal mixed shrub and herbaceous borders including several hundred different perennials, surrounded by more informal plantings of shrubs leading to woodland. There is a small rose garden featuring C19 shrub roses, a pond and bog garden and a a wild flower meadow. There is an emphasis throughout on ornamental grasses and bamboos, the grasses being at their best in the autumn. The plants are generally labelled, for identification. The garden is maintained by the owners and is cultivated for the enjoyment of plants

From A40 take road signed Widford. Turn R at bottom of hill, 1st house on R with ample car parking.

This garden opens for By Arrangement visits from June to September for groups of 10+.
