About 1 Orchard Crescent
A small, much loved, suburban front garden which has been landscaped and developed into the garden it is today. Planting is informal taking advantage of the different environments and habitats that exit within this small space. In the shaded areas in front of the house, hostas and ferns are used alongside late flowering perennials, whilst in the sunnier spots roses, poppies, irises and herbaceous perennials fill the mixed beds. A cast iron bath has been utilised as a well-stocked wildlife pond attracting pollinators and insects, including dragon flies, providing a point of interest in the garden. Pots and containers have been used to provide a wide range of planting opportunities, including a potted gravel garden with succulents and sedums, adding further points of interest to the garden.
