About 128 Greenhaze Lane
The back garden has a pond, with fish, summer house, a variety of plants, some zoned for interest, some for sculptural effect or height and with an aim of all-year-round interest. A small raised vegetable plot and sometimes vegetables are also grown in containers. Some soft fruit is also grown here, as are herbs, and there is a small lawn.
The front garden is cottage garden style planting near the house, incorporating also fruit and vegetables, and a (largely) herbaceous border. This leads to a further grassed area with developing fruit trees, more soft fruit and some vegetables.
An added landscape feature is the meadow beyond the fence, currently managed by the Beds, Cambs and Northants Wildlife Trust, whose headquarters are also in Cambourne.
