About 13 Ballynagard Road
This is a country garden where structured windbreaks created with combining ceanothus, fuchsia, escallonia, weigela, and conifers protect more delicate shrubs and plants. From the first snowdrops, daffodils and primulas, there is a continual mass of colour until early autumn with lillies, agapanthus, allums, azaliea, hyrangea, asters, dahlias and many more. A number of paths lead through a large rockery of mature plants, rhododendrons , a weeping pear tree to apple , damson and fruit trees. Another level of the garden is planted with a wide variety of hosta, fruit trees and mature shrubs. Due to limited car parking and narrow road, numbers are limited to 10 and regrettably unsuitable for wheelchairs.
