About 2 High View Avenue
The property is very nearly 100 years old, faces south and has been built on what was once Glebe orchards, the remnants of which could possibly be the two ancient apple trees in the centre of the north-facing rear garden. The previous owner was both a keen gardener and wildlife conservationist and installed many water butts, a pond and the substantial wild flower meadow. This meadow has wild daffodils, snake’s head fritillaries and camassia in the spring, followed in early summer by ox-eye daisies, buttercups, knapweed and field scabious. Close to the bungalow there is a small shade garden featuring two Dicksonia Antarctica, several different Hostas and ferns.
