About 46 Holmdale Avenue
On arrival at Holmdale gardens three and a half years ago, I made the decision that this garden was for me, I was passionate about putting my own footprint on it by adding lots of colour, as it was mainly shrubs growing and the lawn needed improving. The garden has taken a lot of hard work for me to get it established to how it looks today. However, with my love and passion it has become my pride and joy. The front garden in particular attracts many of compliments from passers by, especially children who admire the scarecrows, windmills and various other ornaments that adorn it. The latest feature has been the addition of the beach garden, with its recycled chimney pot from my roof, which I loving restored and now lights up the garden at night with its warming beams. The recycled old wooded fence has been transformed into two modestly sized beach huts to create the effect of a seaside theme.
