About 85 Corringham Road

We have owned our garden for about 25 years. In 2017 Storm Doris bought down our neighbour’s enormous eucalyptus which crashed across the back of the garden and caused an enormous amount of damage. This gave us an opportunity to start to rethink the garden and we added a sunken seating area surrounded by planting. In 2019, I enrolled in a basic gardening course at Capel Manor College, followed by an RHS Diploma in Horticulture and then a course in Planting Design. I have tried to use the knowledge gleaned over these years to develop the garden further and have been assisted by a friend who is a professional garden designer.
