About Arthingworth Open Gardens
Arthingworth is a very small, with just around 200 villagers. As many villages, we have a lovely church, a few listed buildings and its biggest asset – its setting. It is off the A508, the River Ise at the entrance and surrounded by lovely fields. For the last ten years, the village has opened its garden doors. They are an array of choices from modern to classical gardens, from small and large, from immaculate lawns to wilderness. Last year, the biggest compliment was not even how beautiful the gardens were but how friendly we were from the owners of the garden to the volunteers who ran the tea shop.
