Badgers

The garden comes into its own from end of August, when the Tropical Garden is in full growth. There is also a walled Italian style garden, small Japanese area and woodland with ponds and a waterfall. The Tropical Garden has a wide variety of Palms, Bananas, Gingers, Eucomis and Dahlias and has a network of paths threading through for you to explore and immerse yourself in the Tropics.

About Badgers

The 2 acre garden has been developed over 27 years by its owners and has an impressive Tropical Area, a walled Italian style courtyard, a small Japanese garden and woodland with ponds and a waterfall. It looks its best in September when the large Tropical plants, including Palms, Bananas, Gingers, Eucomis, Gingers and Dahlias are in full growth. There are a number of pathways that lead you through the Jungle and allow you to imagine you are in the Tropics. Open for groups from 21st August to 21st September by arrangement with garden owner. Please note the Garden is on a slope, with steep steps.

In centre of Hawkhurst, follow A229 in the direction of Hurst Green. Pass the The Wealden Advertiser. At sharp L bend turn R up Horns Hill. Drive slowly up Horns Hill.
