Set in 30 acres of farmland in the beautiful South Hams, the 3 acre garden follows a rambling stream through a steep valley: lily pond, herbaceous borders, roses, camellias, lawns and shrubs, a formal herb and vegetable garden. All are dominated by a huge embothrium glowing scarlet in late spring against a sometimes blue sky! Well behaved dogs on leads welcome.

About Bramble Torre

Set in 30 acres of farmland in the beautiful South Hams, the 3-acre garden follows a rambling stream through a steep valley. A lily pond, herbaceous borders, roses, camellias, lawns and shrubs: all are dominated by a huge Embothrium, scarlet in late Spring, glowing against a sometimes blue sky! Further up the valley, a formal herb and vegetable garden runs along one side of the stream. On the other side chickens scratch in an orchard of Dit’sum plums and cider apples. Whiteface Dartmoor sheep quietly graze the hills above. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
