About one acre in a dip on a south facing hill based on a wide range of densely planted architectural/sculptural evergreen trees, shrubs and ground cover: pines; grove of Phillyrea latifolia; extensive ‘cloud pruned’ hedges of Lonicera nitida, box and Viburnum tinus; Maytenus boaria; Viburnum cinnamomifolium; 6 metre Phyllostachys vivax and other large bamboo; range of Mahonia; ferns; grove of Trachycarpus wagnerianus; range of Kniphofia ‘Prince Igor, and Crocosmia.
