The exuberant planting at 3 St Peter's St more than makes up for the small size of the garden. 31 St Peter’s St, on a steep slope, is filled with surprises, and a dry rockery. Bustlers Cottage has a cottage garden inc vegetables, many trees and places to sit. Stop here for a home-made cream tea and buy some plants. The gardener at 16 Ickleton Rd is a plantaholic, unable to refuse room to an unusual plant, and has a fascinating garden as a result. At 3 St John's St, the large pond dominates a colourful garden planted with wildlife in mind, and further up the road the garden at the Rectory has a grass maze mown into the lawn. Duxford Mill is open this year, with its magnificent trees, mill race, and river, and the various different gardens within the garden - not to be missed.

Homemade cream teas will be available in the garden at Bustlers Cottage, weather permitting. Teas will also be available at St Peter’s church, where there is also a toilet. Parking is free throughout the village, and tickets and maps of the village are available from all the open gardens.
