About Growing for Change Organic Market Garden

Growing for Change CIC supports people in recovery from substance abuse or mental health issues through growing and selling organic produce at their Market Garden, Moelyci Farm. The team have spent 4 years working on the run-down site including re-covering the polytunnels in 2024 and creating fertile growing beds. All the beds are created using the no dig methodology, disturbing the soil life as little as possible. Their tomatoes are legendary!
The well recognised benefits of being outdoors, engaged in meaningful physical activity and seeing the fruits of their labours encourages and inspires participants in recovery. They supply their quality produce to local restaurants and cafes and also sell at Llanfairfechan Farmers Market. They have plans for creating an outdoor kitchen and are working on sustainability in their use of water and energy. Growing for Change will open for the NGS in combination with The Granary. Fresh organic produce for sale.
