Extending over 5 acres, this sloping Exmoor garden inc ponds, a water garden, woodland planting, borders and meadow areas. There are magnificent mature trees and old rhododendrons. Spring highlights are the thousands of tulips and other bulbs as well as flowering shrubs and trees; magnolia, cornus and viburnum among others. Not suitable for those of limited mobility or small children. No dogs.

About Hollam House

Hollam House near Dulverton is in the southeast of the Exmoor National Park. The gardens slope to the south and extend to 5 acres. There are magnificent old trees and rhododendrons. This back drop has been enhanced with a variety of shrubs and trees including heptocodium, cornus, viburnum and magnolia. The rill and ponds have been restored and much new planting undertaken. There are borders, a water garden, a woodland area and meadow areas. In the spring there are thousands of bulbs and wonderful wisteria on the house and pergolas. The garden is steep and there are many steps and retaining walls. As a result access can be difficult for those of limited mobility.

From Dulverton Bridge, go straight & bear R at the chemist. At the garage, Hollam Ln is the 2nd L turning immed after the garage, it is between a cottage & music shop.
