About Jekka's Herb Garden & Herbetum

Jekka’s will be open from 9.30am to 4pm on Saturday 2nd August. Entrance is via bookable tickets for different time slots to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit for all. Each ticketed session will have either a tour or talk given by Jekka, a member of her team or a Friend of Jekka’s. During your visit, there will be a number of her team, as well as Jekka, around to answer any questions and provide guidance on herbs.

You will be able to visit Jekka’s Herbetum, which is the first culinary collection of herbs in the UK. It comprises of 39 raised beds which makes it easy for the visitor to be able to see the growing habit and flowers. Within the herb collection there are over 40 different Mints, 35 different Rosemary and 50 different Thymes. There are also four raised beds dedicated to UK native culinary herbs.

You can also walk around Jekka’s Herb Garden, which was planted in 2023, and is based upon Jekka’s award winning RHS exhibitions and her 2016 RHS Chelsea Flower Show Garden as well as her private and public gardens. Jekka’s Herb Garden contains different herb petals that are the themed small herb gardens for visitors to become inspired and take home ideas to reproduce in their gardens.
