About Keens Cottage

Small tranquil cottage garden nestled on the side of a peaceful valley. Home to Garden Designer. Using organic principals. Featuring topiary, planted over 30 years. Rose arch walk, dividing formal garden from orchard, home to Buff Orpington chickens, with spring flowering bulbs and wildflowers. A haven for wildlife. Leading to fernery planted around facade of bothy and Scottish stone recreated from RHS Chelsea 2006. Borders have been replanted over winter 2022 to be able to cope with hotter conditions and drought tolerant, providing nectar for pollinators. And colour and form from May to November.
