Langford Court

The lovely gardens at Langford Court, near Bristol are rarely open to the public. Langford Court Garden is the 6 acre private garden of Sir David and Lady Wills, and is set in a 19th century parkland with a ha-ha, yew topiary and a late 18th century orangery. The garden also includes a cutting garden, large mature pond, woodland, parterre, and a fernery along with large established herbaceous borders, including a new border with naturalistic perennials and grasses in yellow and pink. Spring is one of the times the garden is at its best with a carpet of crocuses and daffodils which were established in the early 1900s.

About Langford Court

The formal gardens at Langford Court cover many acres and this provides a rare opportunity to wander around this beautiful country estate in Spring. The grounds contain a number of discrete gardens within this vast space including a cutting garden, a large and mature pond, woodland, a parterre, a fernery along with large and established herbaceous borders. The gardens have further been developed since its last opening, an old rose garden has been transformed into a tranquil white garden with multi stemmed silver birches, white herbaceous border and fragrant jasmine and the front borders have also been widened and developed.
