Llanddona Village Gardens

Llandonna, one of the highest villages in Anglesey sits between Red Wharf Bay and the Menai Strait. Some of the gardens need shelter from strong winds but have a sunny location with spectacular views. The gardens often have rocky outcrops, but many plants do well. Llanddona has a variety of gardens, from small to quite large with different gardening styles. Drop in to see a smallholding with some carefully tended vegetables, Jacob's sheep and a working pottery studio; rocky garden with a wildlife area and views towards Holyhead mountain; cottage gardens; a colourful garden with pots and greenhouse and former chapel built c. 1840 with a large garden in the early stages of restoration. Most will be within a short walk of each other. Regret, no dogs in some gardens due to livestock.
