About Gwenfro Uchaf

2½ acres of formal and informal areas with encroaching nature and great views; wild meadow walks, trees, hedgerows, stream and ducks; a kitchen garden (veg, soft fruit), lean-to greenhouse, orchard and apiary, divided by hedges and stonewall terracing with steps. All paths are mown, with one slate path down slope to house and lawn, teas, seating and firepit. Food and nature focus not flowers.

A collection of 15 apple and pear tree varieties. Honey from the apiary for sale and possibly other garden produce (herbs, juice, fruit) depending on availability. Wheelchair access limited: only house and shed areas have hard pathways (slate gravel). Lawn and grassland which may prove difficult.

From Bridge take A5025 towards Amlwch; go through Pentraeth, turn L to Llanbedrgoch after layby; Take 2nd L onto Lon Gwenfro, follow yellow ngs signs 1m to field car park, 400 metres walk to garden.

Refreshments Light refreshments. Home-made soup, teas and cakes using garden produce. Gluten and dairy free available.
