Moorfields

Two adjoining gardens, each planted for seasonal colour, which during the late spring and early summer feature perennials inc alliums, lupins, camassias and bearded irises. The larger garden has mature, mixed island beds and borders, a gravel garden to the front, a small wildflower area, large wildlife pond, orchard, soft fruit beds and vegetable garden.

About Moorfields

The open aspect of the gardens affords views towards mid-Derbyshire. From May to September the island beds and borders are full of colour. Most beds are colour-themed and feature a wide range of herbaceous and cottage garden plants. The wildlife pond and bog garden are well established providing the garden with a major focal point.
