About Nags Head Farm
Three rural gardens invite you to spend an evening strolling around their late spring flower beds. New Cottage has a developing wildlife pond, vegetable beds and spring borders set amongst grassy walkways encouraging you to wander. Oxney Flatts’ pond is well established, surrounded by interesting planting which leads to wide borders around the garden, with plenty of seating from which to admire the views. Both gardens have stunning wisteria displays on the house walls. Nags Head Farm offers a pond and rill alongside the lawn, with spring planting flowering in the garden, offering bright colours to offset the unfurling foliage of ferns and hostas. The greenhouse will be full of plants for transplanting into the vegetable plot, with gates leading to woodland walks and a polytunnel growing more vegetables. Views from all the gardens are over the surrounding farmland.
Light refreshments available. Dogs on leads welcome. Partial wheelchair access over grass, mainly level but with some gravel.
These gardens are also open as part of the Hidden Gardens of Croft Road on 30 June & 2 July.
