About Nevill Holt Hall
Italian Garden – a walled garden, repeat planted with a variety of old English roses. Anchored by a collection of mature, Holm Oaks clipped into large spheres and enhanced with a selection of June flowering herbaceous perennials
Walled Kitchen Garden – a productive kitchen garden since 1661 according to English Heritage. A proportionate mix of wall trained fruit trees, including peaches and nectarines, perennial and annual vegetables, fruits and flowers – all for productive use to the Hall and Nevill Holts festival.
Font House – our third walled garden houses a contemporary entertaining pavilion. Building constructed and planted in 2015/16. A very peaceful spot planted with shrubs, roses and perennials with symmetrical pools.
Sculpture throughout the garden includes pieces by Anthony Gormley, Peter Randall-Page, Marc Quinn, Allen Jones, Sean Henry and Nic Fiddian-Green among others.
