About Parm Place
Parm Place is situated in the historic and beautiful village of Great Budworth. The garden has been developed gradually over 30 years. At this time there was only poor quality grass and the remains of orchard with any fruit trees half dead. One damson tree has survived. The garden is south facing and commands views over Cheshire where Jodrell Bank is visible. From a scree bed of grasses, euphorbias, lavender and helleborus borders, the upper garden reveals a small lawn flanked by a double water feature and much wildlife, bog garden and pink and white herbaceous border. A path leads to a large lawn with parterre and where there are further herbaceous borders (one blue and yellow), shrubs, camellias, rockery and rose beds. Drop down to a lower level for the vegetable and fruit garden where you can admire the views.
